Attendance: 1 day per week
Class Time: 9:00am – 4:00pm
Students are also required to complete self-paced theory, online activities, projects and assessment tasks throughout the course.

Remote Learning
Students who are not based in Brisbane can participate live via Zoom and complete practical learning alongside the classroom cohort.Remote students attend classes in real time and receive direct trainer support throughout their studies.

Flowers, Starter Pack & Sundries
Students purchase flowers and materials throughout the qualification and gain valuable experience sourcing and working with a wide variety of botanical products.As a guide, students should allow approximately $100 – $150 per practical class, depending on the floristry project, season and flower selection.The Flower School provides a starter pack and selected core sundries. Students will also receive a recommended sundry list and may be required to purchase additional materials and specialty products throughout the course depending on project requirements, including large-scale installations, event work and advanced design activities.

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)
Students with existing floristry skills, industry experience or previous training may be eligible to apply for Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL).
The Flower School is committed to ensuring the opportunity to apply for RPL is available to all eligible students. Recognition is assessed on a case-by-case and unit-by-unit basis.
Evidence may include:
- Competency conversations and interviews
- Observation of practical skills
- Workplace documentation
- Photographic evidence
- Third-party reports and testimonials
- Written evidence and supporting documentation
Credit Transfer is also available where students have previously completed equivalent nationally recognised units.

Securing Your Place
To confirm your enrolment, students are required to:
- Complete all enrolment forms and required documentation.
- Attend an enrolment consultation.
- Complete a Language, Literacy, Numeracy and Digital Literacy (LLND) assessment.
- Provide a valid Unique Student Identifier (USI).
- Submit any supporting identification or funding eligibility documentation required.
- Pay the $400 non-refundable enrolment fee.
- Pay the $1,100 commencement fee no later than 10 days prior to course commencement.
- Eligible students may arrange the remaining balance through an Ezypay payment plan.
